We upgraded to Nikon D3 and a Mac

Continuing the sentimental recap series, fast forward to roughly 16 years ago: we finally upgraded our cute little Canon 10D to the trustworthy, now legendary Nikon D3 and a Mac running Apple Aperture software. What a change!

A behemoth of a camera. Fast and responsive. You could bang nails with it. And an amazing (for the time) 12 MP sensor. What a sensor it was!  Lush, saturated colours, awesome dynamic range, low lever of noise at high ISO. Wouldn’t dare wishing for more.

Also, the Apple Aperture RAW file development and file organisation software seemed ground breaking and promising at the time. It did Nikon D3 files good justice.
